So today, I went to a friend’s open house in Kajang (drove solo again, found the place though Murni helped locating the house, I’m getting good at this!) and met up with some friends I haven’t seen in a long long time. It felt real good just seeing familiar faces again and catching up with things. I noticed a sad fact though: 95% of our conversation was work-related, and dangit I contributed too. Must resolve that somehow.
Anyway, a peculiar thing happened today. Aiman (the host) introduced me to his other friends who were already there, and since Murni and I didn’t know anyone, it felt a little awkward before we started chatting with the 2 girls who were there. The girl I talked to was really friendly, and after about 5-10 short minutes of chatting, she had to leave. I don’t know how it happened but by the end of all that we managed to exchange numbers and said we’d keep in touch. While we were storing numbers, Aiman came towards us and said: “Oh you both know each other eh?”
We answered: “Nope. Just met.” Pastu gelak.
I like how easy it can sometimes be.
Enough said here.
