Earth Hour 2009 commences at 8.30pm tonight. Please don’t party after it’s all over, because it’s like flipping a finger at what Earth Hour is supposed to be all about in the first place. Participating will make a difference in the symbolic sense, but make a real difference by conserving energy, recycling, and limiting plastic bag use. It’s the least we can do.

This isn’t relevant, but after seeing this and remembering The Wild Thornberrys, I feel like travelling the world to capture animals on tape is another option to add to my already long (and out-of-this-world) ambitions.
