But does that stop me?
I’ve been forever trying to wake up…
…but then again, maybe the truth is I don’t really want to.
Luqman and I are planning to make a video using stop-motion too. All we need…is a camera.
Enough said here.

I want to wake up.
Please wake me up.

I wish I could J, but I’m stuck too.
(And I’m not so sure whether waking up will make things better. Just different.)
But if I do, and if it’s a nice view, I promise you that’s the first thing I’ll do.

Wanted to leave something on your previous post, but I’m sure you have good reason to not allow comments on that one.
I sincerely hope that all is well with you. And if your smile is a mask for pain, then know that there are people here for you. I am always ready and willing to listen, if ever you need a listener.
Everybody knows that you’d break your neck to keep your chin up.
Always been my favorite line from You Are My Sunshine… The single most poignant line I could remember from any of their albums ever. Love it.
Oren Lavie’s Her Morning Elegance makes me want to sleep on a plain white mattress and tape myself as I sleep too, just to see what shapes I would end up making as I dream.
(May not end up quite as interesting though. Nor hardly as graceful, I would imagine…)

Thank you Maddie, your one singular comment is such a comfort that I’ll know what to do if I need a person to talk to.
The reason I closed the comments was because it was a monologue, more of a curious thought streaking by rather than anything else. I like to watch people, see their faces, wonder what they’re thinking and how their lives are playing out, and sometimes these things hit me, and I wonder whether in all the happy smiling laughing faces I see every day, are there any who’s wearing a mask? And then I’d wonder, what’s making them so sad, can it be helped, can I do something?
(I know I sound like this saintly person out to help everyone, but really I’m not. I just think everyone can always pay a little kindness forward, just as you demonstrated in your concern for me. ) So thank you again. I am fine, just in case you still wonder.
Truthfully I’m spoilt for choice when it comes to You Are My Sunshine. There’s too many good lines, “I’ve got my life in a suitcase” or “not so tough found out, found out” or that line from Chin Up..these are the top competitors!
Her Morning Elegance makes me want to purchase that white mattress and have that same exact flooring, to be frank. Lol! I noticed the lamp, the book, the writing pad, the lovely position of the window so that sunlight falls right through…I’d love a room like that, so minimalistic.
Imagine if we could do that, make a video to see what shapes we dream up? I love the idea! ![]()
