I woke up this morning, and this song (out of all the songs I’ve been listening to lately) was blaring in my head:
It pretty much set the mood for the rest of the day, which thankfully has been good so far, Alhamdulillah.
I had an early morning (early for a Saturday anyway), went out to get bread, made breakfast, did my laundry (oh the heavenly smell of fresh laundry, the sight of clothes flapping in the sun!), tidied up the house and spent some time online before helping with lunch, and doing more laundry.
I like my Saturdays fulfilled. I can laze around any other day, but when Saturday’s spent doing something, it’s wonderful.
The headache’s gone now, and I feel a lot better than I have in the past 2 days. Now there’s nothing to do but to catch up with some work (pfft, yeah right) and wait for the game against Middlesbrough tonight.
