I haven’t forgotten your words.
And you know, I did think you were right then.
We do have good chemistry.
You said we were a King and Queen in our own right.
Maybe there’s some truth in that too.
But we both know whatever it’d be wouldn’t work out.
And we both know that’s mainly because of the stands we take in life.
I think one thing that I can take comfort in though, is the knowledge that you don’t mind all that much either.
Maybe one day, I’ll risk breaking open that cryogenic container because as much as you say things have changed, I notice one thing hasn’t:
Our conversations, and how much I still enjoy them, as seldom as they are.
In fact, I think it’s because of their rarity that make them all the more better.
There is one thing though:

You should know better by now not to say things I don’t know how to respond to.
You know me. I always have an answer for everything. Like a last-word freak.
But then again, I know you’ve never expected one back.
