One day, one room.

“I’m gonna base this moment on who I’m stuck in a room with.
It’s what life is. It’s a series of rooms. And who we get stuck in those rooms with adds up to what our lives are.” -
House M.D.

On my wish list:

The most random conversation with the most unlikely person
on anything under the sun.

When was the last time you had one?

One which was unplanned,
unexpected, so out-of-the-blue, and yet left you feeling pleasantly
surprised? Yes, I’m aware that writing about this defeats the whole
purpose of spontaneity, but that’s why I put it under my wish list as
opposed to my wanted list. The odds that I’ll have one don’t look too
likely from where I’m standing,  but that doesn’t mean I can’t muse
about it, surely.

I like exchanges with people, especially when I don’t have to try, especially when I’m able to let the exchanges take a life of
its own without even knowing it.

But people in general tend to shy away from upfront frankness, and no
one likes touchy-feely issues. It’s hard to ask just any guy his views on, say, marriage, without him thinking you’re
hitting on him, or to talk to just any
girl on, say, global concerns, without her thinking you’re showing off and suffering from
delusions of grandeur. I am saying this in general. Friends, your indignant protests are unnecessary. I know you don’t count. =)

I have no place, purpose or time for self-importance; I just like
conversations that mean something.

Don’t you?

In Khairie’s words, life is too short to deal with trivialities.

These days though, it seems the best way to travel is to be on guard 24/7.

Build your fortress around you if you must, mine is already up
and standing, but we can still holler through our walls.

Enough said here.
