If you have some time to kill, or you’re bored, or you’re running out of websites to surf, or you need a reason to avoid doing work, spare a few minutes to watch this video of Tiersen playing Rue De Cascades live. You might see the reason why I go on and on about him. It’s the way he plays the piano, the way he peers over at the crowd watching him to let them know he’s still with them, the way he closes his eyes smiling and just loses himself in the music. So honest. His transitions from piano to accordion to piano again remind me a little of Dredg’s Bug Eyes video, where the drummer at one point was playing the drums and the piano simultaneously. I never get tired of “Bug Eyes.” Disclaimer: both videos above feature two very different type of genres, but music transcends all. Enjoy. =)

The conundrum is a conundrum no more. I can’t go to the EITS gig, even if I wanted to.
A mid-term paper beckons on the very same night.
Faz, Ely, Pai…I’m so sorry girls.
Enjoy it for me, and flood me with the details come the next day.
Don’t feel sorry for me, I’m trying not to let it sink in.

A text message came through yesterday:
“Today I laughed and laughed so much the world must have thought I was on drugs. What else was there to do when so many things went wrong?”
I used to be able to do that. Laugh at a bad day.
I want to stop sighing so frequently. It sounds so…jaded. Ugh.
Enough said here.
