The seating was fairly good, we dressed modestly, but there absolutely nothing less than spectacular about the performance.
My sister and I decided that we wanted a bit of fun, and so last night we went out to see this:

My parents had seen it the night before, and Abah was pushing for us to watch it. He even bought the tickets and sent us there himself. Well, we didn’t need much persuasion. It’s a My Fair Lady musical! What’s there to say no to?!
Imagine this:
A live orchestra, a grand setting, the audience all dressed up to the nines (well, some of them anyway), the charming Eliza Doolittle sweeping the stage with her cockney accent and indignant poses, the egotistical Prof. Higgins struggling to keep his temper, and the entire cast enchanting the audience with its perfect singing and dancing. The jokes were well-placed and…oh, I just fell in love with it! I couldn’t see the performers’ faces from where we were sitting (ticket mahal seh), but at least Abah put us on Level 1. I owe my dad.
Today’s the last time they’ll be performing. There are 2 times; one at 3pm and the final one is at 8pm. The venue is at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. If you have no plans, have 3 hours to kill, and have a love for stage musicals, GO.
I came home last night just in time to catch extra time of the FA Cup Final. What about that, huh? Drogba scored, just like I predicted. Shebby actually got the scoreline right this time around. According to the commentators and Saraa who kept me updated while I was out, I didn’t miss much. Boring football, it was reported.
What do you expect? Tengoklah siapa main…tee hee.
My congratulations to both teams. No, really.
Now, let’s get ready for the good stuff.
Enough said here.
