Currently Playing: Cary Brothers-Loneliest Girl In The World.
Don’t worry, it’s only a song. Not every sad song played is a sad story related.
So anyway.
I’m feeling very random today, therefore expect the very random from me.
I bumped into a friend a few days ago and after the usual pleasantries, I realised that whenever we meet, there’s always something negative to exchange before parting ways. I am making a resolution-the next time I bump into someone who asks me how I am, I will stop at ‘Health-wise, I’m alright Alhamdulillah." No ‘buts’, no ‘if only’, no ‘it’s just’, in fact I’m ruling out any conjunctions. No additional spirit-dampening info, period. Insya Allah, there will be a time when both of us meet and we will smile with no cynicism or worn weary features.
I think I’m becoming a slob. Far cry from my messy neat-freak days. But then, untidiness is a common trait of all geniuses. Haha. Wishful thinking.
I need to get back to the tracks. My appetite’s gone completely haywired–I can’t get through 5 minutes without munching on something, and the kilos have been rolling in like mad. I really need to get back to the tracks.
Congratulations to Zab and Joe Jer for winning the Amazing Race Asia. Total Malaysian girl power all the way!
Go watch Garden State. If you don’t fall in love with the story, you’ll fall in love with Zach Braff’s good taste in music.
Last night, my family held a majlis doa selamat for my brother. Liverpool-Everton match was at 8:40pm, so I ended up moving about from the TV to my relatives and back again to keep an eye on the game. Cis, tak berbaloi langsung. I’d accept a 1-1 draw even, just as long as there are goals.
I’m in a bit of a fix. Perdana Global Peace Organisation is holding an international conference on war crimes from 5th-7th February. I had it marked on my calendar about a month ago, but I didn’t register that it was going to be on 3 lecture days. I haven’t missed a single lecture since matrics, and I don’t take too well with falling behind in notes and understanding a topic. Its called being slow. Also, I have an exam on Wednesday for a subject of which I’m thisclose to being completely clueless. On the other hand, this opportunity doesn’t come knocking often, and there’s so many subjects on the programme list that I really want to hear discussed! I’ve never been so torn between 2 absolute necessities before.
So there you go. Like I said. Random.
Enough said here.
