A good friend of mine texted me after reading that rant entry on people and trust. He said that it had nothing to do with that post, but it was a thought-provoking message and I think it apt to share:
"That fear(…)of being someday dulled to feelings of caring for your fellow human beings; it’s like having a serious injury. If it hurts like hell, you’re going to be alright, but if it’s not painful anymore, you know you’re screwed. Metaphorically, if you’re always afraid of someday being dulled, you’re ok. But if someday you wake up and you realise you don’t care, and you find yourself saying ‘ok’, you know things are different."
Enough said here.
P/s-Dude, if you want credits, I’ll consider it. Claims for compensation in copyright breaches and additional royalties though…not going to happen. That last Habeas Corpus speech fell flat and you know it.
