With tired eyes, tired minds, tired souls, we slept.

Currently Playing: Explosions In The Sky-Day 5.

I’m back.

Finally.

After more than a week of toiling over books and notes, the bird is returning to her nest for the next couple of weeks or so.

Subhanallah, but it was an experience while it lasted…

And I’m beat.

Which is why I’m spewing semi-comprehensible incomplete sentences at present time.

I owe the brilliance of this entry’s title to Explosions In The Sky…its the most accurate theme I can think of.

If you like postmodern, progressive, instrumental indie rock, give them a go.

The thing about examinations is that they leave me devoid of any sense of time, a symptom I hear is quite common.

Days and time are divided into categories: the days when there’s a paper to sit for, or the moment the time comes to pray. Thank God for the azan–it pops the bubble of detachment from the rest of the world.

Other than that, its either the time you study…or the time you don’t.

Stress kan?

But anyways, that’s over and done with, at least til the next semester ends.

As for now, I find it apt to quote from Grey’s Anatomy the following line:

"Why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels so good when I stop."

Well, I’ve stopped the hitting and the hammering, and now it really does feel good.

Give me a few days to recuperate and regain that sense of time I’ve lost, and then ask me out for coffee or something.

I might just say yes. ;)

Happy holidays!

Enough said here.

more like ” why do i keep hitting myself with law journals? coz it feels more than damn good when i stop!!”
happy resting!!

Actually, yeah, that sounds about right…cept if it really WERE law JOURNALS we’re hitting our heads with, a severe concussion is the most probable result. Dudette, do you know how LETHALLY HEAVY those things are?

Aw, c’mon lubna! Widaad’s just trying to get into the spirit, here!

but anyways, coffee sounds good…except..
didn’t you say your head spins like haywire during examtime because of coffee?!!

So why go for coffee when it ultimately reminds you of exams?!

Unless…you taking about great cups of latte or cappucino, and not the stuff out of the colourful cans in the nus shop we like to refer as ‘coffee’ ; )

If the latter’s the case, then i’d love to join!!!

As great as a quote that one was, haven’t ya already mentioned it somewhere in one of your previous posts before?

Nah, that was just me bein an arse really. Let’s rejoice and celebrate the glorious Grey’s Ana, from MerDer to Dr. Sloane (McSteamy, McSteamy!! = s Soz, just that I REALLY needed to get it out of my system, haha = p) instead during the break. But then again, just slightly over two weeks? Surely that would not qualify as a holiday, given the gruesome workload we had to endure during last sem, no? = )

Aisya:
The 3 dalam 1 kopi SO does not count, girl. Besides, that was downed out of pure necessity–no joy there.

Oh I really don’t mind where we have the coffee, or what type. It could be Neslo Ais for all I care. The important thing is that you bring a good conversation with you along…like, oh I don’t know, the Battle of Saratoga? I am still holding that against you!

Fazlia:
She makes an appearance! I had better see more of you next semester, woman. Abt the quote, I used it for my Shoutout, not post. =P

2 weeks it may be, and if 2 weeks is all they can spare for us, then 2 weeks it is! We’ll milk it. ;D
