Don’t make me make you.

Terima kasih kepada Widaad atas pemberian lagu For Blue Skies nyanyian Strays Don’t Sleep. Penulis berpendapat lagu ini memang sangat sesuai untuk dimainkan berulang-ulang pada ketika ini, dan lebih berkesan didengari apabila hujan turun lebat.

Nampaknya coretan penulis berakhir setakat ini sahaja.

At least in BM anyway.

Ah, what’s the use? The more I try to kid myself into thinking I can actually handle this tricky mother tongue of mine, the more I make a fool out of myself. Take the above example. An almost elementary standard of language took me several good minutes to figure out how to put it down. This calls for BM classes with Cikgu Yu again.

I won’t be going home again this weekend. Widad called tonight. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I miss her.

There are many downsides to having to do your research at a CC. The most apparent at current time is the loud girl who’s sitting next to me and very much engaged in flirting her lungs out on the Internet phone. Do you know what irritates me? When I haven’t gone back to my room since 8am, having spent the entire day at the library trying to make some sense out of an assignment, not showered, trying to understand the concept of the Getter problem when its almost 2am, and to have some whiny girl making her affections very public is not exactly helping.

Some people have work to do.

Ok, I’m grouchy, I know. Freedom of expression, I know.

Which brings me to the issue of the publications of inflammatory caricatures of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in some dimwitted newspapers. Truth be told, I really have no more comments to give. I’ve run out of energy, having ranted since last Saturday, but what I can tell you is that I’ve come across many articles which I found to be both interesting and reflective of my thoughts. Among them was Martin Khor’s article in The Star yesterday, along with Dr. Chandra Muzaffar’s article today. The blog that I frequent featured an entry on this issue as well, and she delivered her views well.

Having said that, I don’t think its any harm to briefly put down my personal views, though you shall find that they are not unlike many other moderate Muslims who have voiced out similar opinions.

But first, let me find a time when there isn’t some kind of phone drama unfolding next to me. Here comes a headache.

I am so outta here.

Enough said here.

Again, the writer in Lubna is unleashed. But too bad about the BM though..what a pity. And trust you to find drama in your life at the oddest hours :-)

look, i didnt come here to read your blog. its too long, too deep, and too boring. liverpool vs arsenal on tues.

Ignore the above entry. Said entry was written when I was half-awake, hence the low quality of it.

Lutfi: You don’t read. Period. What are you dissing this page for? And Lutfi, shaddap lah. Ko baru support Arsenal baru sebulan nak bising. You don’t even know all the players’ name.

*Reads the comments by the siblings.*

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA.

You two remind me too much of me and my siblings… How schweet!

“…dimainkan berulang-ulang pada ketika ini, dan lebih berkesan didengari apabila hujan turun lebat.”

Now, to put my BM skills to good use…

ANALISIS KESALAHAN BAHASA

‘…Dimainkan berulang-ulang KALI ketika ini, dan lebih berkesan apabila didengari ketika hujan turun DENGAN lebat…’

Sorry Lubs, it had to be done… :p

Well written. No, not the blog, the reiteration.

i still get that confusion when it comes to widaad n widad…hehe…
for blue skies lubna, i’ll do anything…ANYTHING…haha..ifonly it was that easy…mind me…i’m throwing out emotions on ur blogs..coz i just dont feel like updating mine..hehehe…my life needs revamp!! i’ll start with a hair cut…

oh n i forgot…for ur ‘terima kasih’ i will replly with a ’sama-sama’…it seems like we’re one of those foreigners in UIA whom when asked if they understand malay they’ll reply ’sikit-sikit’

Aisya:
Thanks for the correction. I’m telling you girl, 3 years with no BM has rendered me a complete retard when it comes to expressing myself. In BM that is. Cikgu Yu would be SO disappointed.

Lutfi:
*sepaks*

Widaad:
How’s your halo? ;)

tu lah lubna, cikgu yu will be so disappointed. i can hear him now, rattling about kenapa kamu tak pandai berbahasa melayu walaupun belajar kat sekolah yada yada yada.

Ehem

that’s
belajar DI sekolah.

Ok, ok I know I’m being an annoying twat… I’ll shut up…

Cikgu Yu Cikgu Khir?? Siapa lagi menyeronokkan? Natijahnya, saya pun tidak tahu kerana keseronokan berbahasa bergantung kepada penuturnya yang bersemboyangkan tatabahasa yang betul dan diadun dengan kecekapan seseorang mempelbagaikan ayat :-P
