I really, really shouldn’t be online at this moment. Its exactly 4am, I have a 10am class and I can’t afford to fall asleep in class. Its completely unethical, not to mention rude and disrespectful to those who are lecturing.
So what am I doing up?
For starters, I’ve had my share of sleep for the night. Fell asleep while having an sms conversation with Khairie (note: sorry for not replying!) and awoke to the sound of rain hitting the windows.
Its raining. At 3.30am. How can I not be awake? I love it when it rains…it feels so comforting. Another random reason-when its raining, everyone has to stay inside, no one goes anywhere, meaning your loved ones stay with you. Cynics can say that rain also means preventing your loved ones from coming home earlier, but hey, its their job to look at things from the dreary perspective, and I’d rather be a foolish idealist than a cold realist.
Besides, Sarah Mclachlan’s on. Raining when its dark and good music are the best ingredients to be awake.
And the fact that I’ve, yet again, revamped my blog. Hope you like the new template. The old one wasn’t displaying properly.
Ok, ok. The major factor behind me being up at this ungodly hour is that I (gulp) forgot about the MOD assignment, and did not do any research whatsoever these holidays. How careless can one get? Aih. I seriously hope none of my group members are reading this…
At least my sub-topic’s interesting-The Experiences of Preachers and Converts. People and their life stories…each and every one of them are inspiring. It doesn’t matter who you are, if you have a life and are living it to the best of your ability, then you have a story to tell. Each story pulsates with its own life-the storyteller need not even tell it for it to be so.
I’m rambling. Its 4.15am. I can’t find any materials on experiences of Muslim da’i(s), haven’t finished packing, and Subuh’s in less than 2 hours.
What’s worse? Its stopped raining.
Perhaps I had better stop and contine tomorrow…er, later on today.
Enough said here.
