What am I doing here again? I swear, its like I’ve made the library my second home, and it isn’t in the nice, geeky way you’d expect me to mean. I’m practically nodding off, having read Harry Potter *sheepishly grins* in the wee morning hours before having a chat with Khairie at 2am and having him ordering me to get to bed (though I read a few more pages before finally falling asleep). I have an article to finish for the Nexus Bulletin but inspiration seems to have eluded me, even to write the simplest of articles. How does a girl write an article about a Talk Show and make it really interesting anyway? Hmm.
Oh wow, has anyone seen the new Green Day video? The song was good, the video was alright, but somehow I’m now constantly reminded of the Orphans of Tall Afar whenever I see it. Read Newsweek.com on them.
For now, Green Day’s playing for me.
Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends
like my fathers come to pass
seven years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends
here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are
as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends
summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends
ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began
wake me up when september ends
here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are
as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when september ends
Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when september ends
like my father’s come to pass
twenty years has gone so fast
wake me up when september ends
wake me up when september ends
wake me up when september ends
Enough said here.
