Fatigue, and then some.

Posted by: lubnaaa | July 28, 2005 |

I am beat. Dead tired. I feel like I need someone to invent a machine that’s going to allow me to be able to pick my limbs off, one by one, and place them in a tub of hot water. It isn’t fair. How come everyone else is doing the same amount of work I am, and look as though they’re constantly on a high? If you girls are taking something, give me some of it too. At this point, I need a good dose of it to be in character for rehearsal. Suzana’s going to be one haggard-looking Senior PP tonight. And she’s supposed to be the experienced, aggressive one. Haha. This should be funny. I’m sure the stage directors are going to be impressed. Ugh. Ok, sarcasm out.

Yani and gang are out conquering a mall somewhere on the occasion of Abby’s birthday. There’s supposed to be a gathering tonight for First Years…and it looks like I’m going to have to bail that. I’ve got some Millef work to do right after I’m done writing this…and my notes have not taken on any form that make any sense to me. SOme scribbles and doodles, and I swear, most of my Transactions notes involve a lot of drawings and sketches of cars, refridgerators, boxes and little circles that symbolise money. I kid you not. Gah. I sense a priority-review is in order if I want to avoid impending doom, which looks pretty much inevitable right now. Trust me to sound so casual about my downfall.

Bla bla bla, I’m so done here.

(I know I’m going to look back on this article and cringe, but hey, I would probably need idiot humour for me to shake my head at later on in the future.)

Enough said here.

Ps-The famine in Africa is a lot worse than I thought it was. Poverty is hitting an all time dangerous level at the moment, and thousands of children have died in Niger alone. Something should have been done 8 months ago when the red flag came up. Now this. Come on people, do your part and donate. No child deserves to starve to death. Stop taking things for granted. The next time you moan about cafes not having enough variety of food, lets take a moment and think about those who don’t even have a morsel to chew on.

Pps-About children not deserving to starve to death, children don’t deserve to have their parents taken away from them in cold blood either. I’m referring to the Orphans of Tall Afar. I keep on thinking about them. Please, read about the Hussain family and their 15 second nightmare. Another life-changing story for me.

i heard bout the poverty issue in africa. i really want to help but i wish they’d set up a proper fund for the famine in africa specially, like the one they did for the tsunami. the famine is forever on going there and what more, most african countries are undeveloped which makes it even worst. i want to actually go there and help. do whatever la, like dole out food or sumthing. i might not have the money to buy them stuff.
dont worry lubna, u look ceria as ever in class. u dont look fatigued. not like me.
doesnt mean that i’m a celebrity now i get free cleo mags. :-)

What sucks the most is that we never know whether its a real fund we’re donating to, and not just some bull crap of a fraud fund thats cashing in on our sympathy.
