Jumbled up thoughts

Posted by: lubnaaa | April 11, 2005 |

I’ve been trying to get a hold of my cousin for the past few days, but all I seem to get is this chap who probably thinks I’m stalking him. Poor lad, I really feel bad for wasting his time. Oh my God, it just occured to me that he could be an old bloke who’s already married with 10 children in tow. Now there’s a thought. He sounded young though…can you tell a person’s age from his/her messages? Anyways, I did something out of the ordinary. Boredom twisted me up in such a way, I was actually thinking of striking up a conversation with a complete stranger to liven up my already mundane life. Somehow I didn’t want to disturb my usual SMS mates at that moment. It’s a good thing he was busy…busy with his children, maybe? Heh, never risk it, people.

Anyways, my fever’s gone down and my throat’s much better. I’ve finished a whole box of tissues though…I can’t seem to get rid of this flu, and I’m too tired to get myself to the doc. So, does anyone have any ideas? Simple methods, please. My room’s already a jungle of kleenex, thankyou.

It dawned on me that next week, I’ll be heading off to a whole new place. I’ll be starting Taaruf Week (that’s something like Orientation Week for you non-UIA/Arabic-illiterate ppl), and beginning my Bachelor’s degree at the tender young age of 18 (I’m not quite yet 19, which means I’m still YOUNG, and no Saraa, I’m not in denial) which is a strangely exciting yet freaky thought. Hm…venturing into an unknown terrain…that sounds like an article I wrote once for the school mag before SPM. Wow. One thing’s for sure though; I’m going to miss my roomies so bloody much! I love you girls, you hear me?

My finals results are out tomorrow. I think it’s high time for me to start panicking.

Enough said here.
