Gak! My brother just told me my posts are way too long, and that blogs are supposed to be short and sweet. I really can’t help myself when I have a story to tell, and I like getting it out. I’m not forcing anyone to read this!
Well, this is it. Tomorrow’s the big day. I finally made it, thank God. I’m going to be a university student this time tomorrow and all I can think about is whether the Olympic-sized swimming pool they have over there will be available to us students by next week. Lol. I haven’t swam in ages, and since the holidays have pretty much rendered me a certified sloth, I have so many kilos to shed. My guess is all my mates won’t recognise me one bit tomorrow during registration. I can just imagine the scenario. ‘Hello, my name is . You look like a friend of mine back in matrics. Do I know you?’ ‘Uh, , it’s me, Lubna.’ ‘O my flippin heck! What happened to you, chubby?’ ARGH. At least Gombak’s big and windy…which would makes things easier for me to start walking around and get fit.
I cannot believe I’m about to take a major step into another stage in my life and am rambling about exercising, of all things. This is it. Tomorrow’s going to be the beginning of the next 4 years of my life, and who knows where I’ll be then. Insya Allah, all my mates and I will be fine. To the ex-matrics of 04/05, may Allah be with us.
I think I’m ready to open the first page of a brand new chapter. Here’s to the start of a wonderful journey.
Enough said here.
