I was listening to Sheryl Crow this morning, and agreed nothing could be more true than that song of hers. It’s funny how ironic life can get, and the surprises that pop up each time you take that bend in the road.
Anyways, I checked out my results yesterday. Alhamdulillah, there was a slight increase from last semester and overall I would rate my CGPA as fairly ok. Looking back on the attitude I had taken towards the exams (read: too laidback), I would say it’s yet another miracle granted by the Almighty. I have a feeling that no one reads my blog anyway so I might as well put down how much I got, just for the record. No harm in that. I scored a GPA of 3.867 for my last semester, which means my CGPA amounts to a 3.868. Thank goodness Arabic doesn’t feature in my GPA…I only got a B+ for that. I don’t deny that Intermediate Level for Arabic is tough, so I can say I’m fairly lucky. Talked to Abby, my cousin’s niece last night and who also happens to be a mate of mine, and she got a whopping score. No surprise there, the brainiac gets to me everytime…and she calls ME the geek. *rolls eyes*
Another thing before I pop off. I’ve just realised how big my siblings are getting, especially my youngest brother whom I’ve adored since his birth. I was tickling him the other day as usual, and it just dawned on me that he was going to be 11 this year. It seemed so…OLD. He still gives me these little hugs and kisses, but pretty soon, he’s going to be a 13 year old sulky teen…and would probably be caught up in his own world. That realisation hit me like a sock in the gut. I still remember the day ummi brought him home…and the time we almost lost him to broncholitis. Damn, I’m getting overly sentimental, but…well, think about it. Dear God, please stall time! I’m going to be away in Gombak most of the time after this, so I won’t be able to watch him every day like I used to. The other day, he told me he was upset I was leaving so soon and it just made me STOP. Hehe, Luqman, I love you too.
Great. Flu’s gone, but it got replaced by nose bleeds. I better go before I spray the keyboard red.
Enough said here.
